Getting a rashguard seemed like a good idea. I am very prone to tanning and I was worried about getting too tan while swimming several times a week in an outdoor pool. I purchased this rash guard and was a bit skeptical. Once it came in the mail I was worried it was too small. However once in the pool I appreciated the fact that it was comfortable. And for a while, its been almost two months, the rashguard did its job, I did not tan anymore. On the one hand I was satisfied with my purchase. However, about a week ago I noticed some patches on the rash guard that were not initially there. The material was wearing thin and I could only conclude that the frequent use of it in a chlorinated pool was the cause. I was a bit disappointed at how quickly it deteriorated. But perhaps rashguards are not meant to be used frequently, or at all, in pools. Lessoned learned

I really liked the look of this rashguard but it was very tight fitting. I like to wear a suit underneath and that was not posssible and still look decent. Just too tight for what I needed.
