Amazon.com Product Description
The Re-generate series Skins RG8 Short Sleeve Crew for women provides the same sun and rash protection as O'Neill's standard high-performance rashguards with environmentally sustainable construction. Composed of 90-percent recycled bottles and plastics, the RG8 fabric is lightweight, quick drying, and offers an Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) of 50+. You will not have to leave the water to reapply sunscreen, and seamless paddle zones offer zero abrasion comfort for hours of paddling. The crew is detailed with a board short connector loop as well as signature O'Neill lettering in water based inks. The RG8 Crew's great style, comfort and protection, and sustainable construction are emblematic of O'Neill's history of creating top quality surf gear.
About O'Neill Sometime around 1952, Jack O'Neill opened the first surf shop in a garage across the Great Highway. He shaped a few balsa surfboards and sold accessories like paraffin wax and few vests (glued together from neoprene). When the vests started selling, Jack decided to go into the wetsuit business. His friends laughed. They asked him what he planned to do for business after the handful of surfers in the area had bought one. Jack said he'd cross that bridge when he got to it.
