Newport News Shape fx Scuba-style belted swimdress

Comment: Prior to wearing I washed this item. After going to the beach and spending some time in the salty water, coming home and washing it after wear, the darn belt started to rust. For the price I think the belt could be of a better quality. On the plus, it did slim and shape my mid section and the skirt was long enough to cover my butt (lol) so I'm happy with that. It was a little difficult to get into, but what swimsuit isnt? Esp one that has slimming qualities. So it wasnt uncomfortable at all, I was able to breathe and move easily.

Comment: I dread shopping for swimsuits. Nothing seems to fit right or look good on me.
I ordered this swimsuit after liking what I saw reading the positive reviews.
I love the style of this swimsuit, it fits well (size up) and I feel comfortable wearing it. On vacation, there wasn't a single person who was wearing the same swimsuit as me. The price is right.

HOWEVER, after wearing it just one week, the buckle components started to rust. Very disappointed that this was not an issue Newport News addressed in its quality department. After reading reviews on other swimsuits, I am not convinced they will address this issue on further products. They will refund my money, but because I like this swimsuit so much, I may try to remedy this myself.

Comment: As soon as I saw the swimsuit, I noticed that the material and finishes were not good.
I returned the item and I am now waiting for Newport to credit my account.

Comment: Not a big fan. Really tight and not a pretty purple, imho. I'm a 4 and this suit is like a 2. Ouch. Order up.

Comment: After injuring my knee I have returned to the pool to rehabilitate the leg. I first wore tankinis, only to find out that the tops tended to float up and had to be pulled down over and over again. Then tried a one piece suit, but the shoulderstraps kept falling down. Ordered this swimsuit in purple, and love it!!! The halter top stays on, the material is good...and most of all, it comes in TALL sizes. Now going to order a black one so that I will stay stocked up!
