Coolibar UPF 50+ Women's Short-Sleeve Swim Shirt

I'm very fair skinned and burn easily. For our recent beach vacation, I wanted something that would protect my skin AND look good. After doing much research online, I decided to buy this Coolibar swim shirt in the sea foam/dipping dots design. I also ordered the Coolibar swim skort in black. The swim shirt is great. The fabric is very soft and light weight, and it feels great on the skin. It fits and looks great. Just one thing was a little dissappointing. On the picture, it looks like the dipping dots on the side are on a black background, but it is actually dark blue. It bothered me a little bit, because I would have ordered the swim skort in navy instead of black if I would have known. First of all I measured myself and the numbers came out between Large and X Large in the size chart. In such a case the chart advised to buy the larger size, which I didn't. I bought a size L thinking that a snug fit would be better in the water. Well it wasn't anywhere near snug! The shirt was quite loose, that's good if you're going to stay dry; disguises tummy and hip. But I had to tuck the shirt in my tights at the waist so it wouldn't come up to my neck while swimming! I think size medium would have been good.
Apart from that the shirt protected me perfectly; midday under the sun and in the water for more than 2 hours, and I didn't use sunscreen beneath -I had to do that with other shirts before- the result: a vacation with no sun rash! I'm happy.

Delighted with the shirt. Fit is body-skimming, the way I like. If you want a snug fit, order a size down. Wore it with a regular nylon bra for support, for a week of snorkeling in the tropics. My very pale back and shoulders were well protected.
